If not, meaning it directly overwrites the non Steam installed version, then you might have to fool the installer into making a false update overwrite. Meaning... Create a new folder that is the normal name for SH5... for now just use C:\SH5 Now run the non-steam SH5 mega mod installer. If you have the Steam version of Sh5 installed, the installer will probably default to the Steam\SH5 location. DO NOT ALLOW THAT TO PROCEED. Instead redirect the installer to the new empty \SH5 folder you created earlier and the mod installer should mod/update the empty \SH5 folder... If it doesn't allow you to redirect the installer elsewhere, THEN ABORT/CANCEL the mod installation and forget about the step below. This is unlikely though because I've never run across an installer that did not allow you to redirect the installation. Now that you have the extracted individual modded files isolated to the created \SH5 folder you can extract/save the internal files into a normal JSGME mod format presuming you are familiar enough to do that. If not... just look at some of your other JSGME mods for Sh5 to get an idea of what's expected. Hope this helps... Regards |
