Hallo hallo!

I'm a long time fan of Sub Sims, and got into it quite early when I first played Aces of the Deep, then the Silent Hunter series came along and I was hooked more than ever.

I spotted SHIII on Steam, nabbed it, fortunately learning about that ever so sweet GWX 3.0 and it has never been more engaging, and the SubSim forums seem like the best place to be.

Now I'm starting off with a VIIB in 1939, attached to the 2nd Flotilla.
I find it slightly strange to be patrolling BF17 and all I come across are Neutral vessels (Netherlands, Yugoslavia, India etc.) I had previously assumed Poland was the only 'enemy' until the early 40s, yet I'm a far cry from thier waters. Am I missing something?
