Always save game before shooting. I do and it stops this sort of thing happening.
The myth of CTD/bugs while saving underwater or within 50km of anything interesting is just that...a myth. It's only happened to me once or twice in several thousand hours of game time and both times it was no more than a petty inconvenience and recoverable. YMMV. KH |
