Default So my wife now thinks I am a total idiot

Something I have learned from my trips here and my patrol trips is that I can hear the boats around me, even when my sonar man cannot or does not pick them up (GWX).
I came across this when I could see the bloody ship but he couldn't pick it up.
So I stick on my headphones, plug them in and go to the sonar room and yep, I can hear the ship.

Now this has the advantage of being able to pick up the ship when my friend in the sonar room, who must be Vincent van Gough because of his lack of hearing ability, cannot and it certainly does add a bit of "getting really involved" in the game, as you take the part of Vincent.

So I am doing this this morning, all intense and everything, really getting into tracking a ship, and I look around and my wife is standing there, looking at me like I am a dope.

She asks what I am doing and I tell her....she looks at me like I am 5...I am 46 by the way, and slowly shakes her head while walking out of the room.

I wait a moment and then quickly return to tracking my prey....

Now when my wife walks in she just shakes her head at me.
Its like I have been caught wearing her clothes or something.

She just doesn't understand.....
