I used to be a vegetarian but now find myself comfortable with being a pollo-pescitarian But then I was a vegetarian for moral reasons, not health.

What I don't understand about the premise of this thread is that of all the Muslims I know, NONE of them object to anyone, not a Muslim, eating pork. They just don't eat it themselves.

I think this is more an individual attitude than a common religious attitude. Just like there are "militant" vegetarians who seem to have to "prove their point" in front of people and are generally considered jerks, most vegetarians I know don't give a crap what anyone else eats.

I think that would also apply to many Muslims too.
