It was on sale. It looks like a good practice boat. Work my way up to something tougher.

And what do you mean by problems? Accuracy problems or quality/design problems?

I looked at the 1/35 italeri kit(to measure the torps), and what a detailed kit! But, that kit is around $150 and isn't designed to be rc or have a motor in it.
