I didn't, but I could understand why. It's pretty clear that the flashing icons are a bug and therefore should be fixed with a patch. And removing the objectives just seems wrong, since that's basically one of two methods of telling what you're supposed to be doing. Now, I don't often refer to them, but I enjoy having the choice.
