It's against everything to treat paying customers as criminals, locking them out of a product they paid for, it may even be illegal. DRM is funny.
The only people who have DRM active are honest customers, hence they are the only ones being locked out and treated like criminals. When the game eventually gets cracked, that version wont have DRM active, hence they will not be locked out. See the irony? See the logic? See why that forum rule has got to change?
