I was thinking it would be nice to use a realistic looking clock instead of the stopwatch. It would be of importance to have the clock as large as the current stopwatch, and maybe just a tad larger to read the time easily.
Idea: To have a larger clock, which can be toggled between being a stopwatch and being a uboat clock. Preferably the clock would appear in the upper right corner. The other icons there should be moved I think. Goal: Since I do not know how to mod a clock, I want to mainly do the graphics, and then anyone is free to use the texture, or to help me making it work as a mod. I am not sure how the included alpha will work in-game, the alpha channel I made might have to be adjusted. The plan is to resize the clock texture down to the wanted resolution with some nice looking (non-photoshop) filtering when I know exatcly what pixel width/height is to be used. Also color correction will be in order. Hm, and a glass cover should be added. In hindsight, I should make the brass metal abit shiny. Will make the hour, minute and second pointer when I know the exact final resolution for the textures. I could design a more authentic looking clock, however I think a simple round dial will work nicely. Here is a forum thread I found with 37 pages about the uboat clock: ![]() http://germanwatch.proboards.com/ind...ead=546&page=3 Q: Should the center of the final clock texture have a pixel, with total height/width in odd numbers (one pixel as center)?
