No. I said historical, not hysterical. I always knew that major
events like countries falling changed the bases but never knew just how far the game took other lesser events dealing with aircraft & shipping. In all my patrols, coming within 200 km from an enemy base in good weather (daylight) meant I would see patroling aircraft (always). Well, for the last 2 days, I am well within 100 km of Scapa Flow (partly cloudy, calm seas & daylight) but have not seen plane 1 ??? I have also not had any ship contacts for the last 36 hours running north & east of SF ??? Can't understand it, NEVER happened before, so I went into my WW2 day by day history book and looked up the May 27 & 28. 1940 events. And I found "DUNKIRK" Most all ships & planes have been dirverted to "Operation Dynamo". Could the game be reflecting this event ??? If I were down in AN79 or AN87. would I see dozens of ships & aircraft ??? I would like to think this was the case & not just random coincidence. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences along those lines ??? JIM
