Files spontaneously becoming faulty is a very rare phenomenon. You are
far more likely to just have a HDD failure. So, no, your saves will not be
more reliable. If the programming that made and loaded the saves is still
poor, you will still have problems, where ever your saves are stored.

Right , so i should have suspected dodgy hard drive and overall crappy system . Right so a stable system helps to start with then . over .
