Default [TEC] Black Imported Objects using S3d & Wings 3D

Ok so I am going along editing a ship for SHIV using the newest version of S3D for model importing/exporting and wings 3D V1.16 for Editing. Lets say im making the hatsuharu destroyer based off the Shiratsuyu model. The bridge for the Hastuharu resembles that of the Mutsuki so I export the Mutsuki model, edit the mesh and delete everything except the bridge. Then I combine the bridge with the Shiratsuyu model in Wings3D and import it into the Shiratsuyu using S3D, I get a material error <--- (probably source of the black objects) but continue with the import. When I view the newly edited mesh in game it appears black and almost hollow like you would turn on the two sided (Cull none) option in the materials. I just want to know if there is a way to get around this somehow without deleting the materials of the objects prior to import.

Heres some screenshots to show you my settings:

ERROR MESSAGE:

Kind of hard to see here but this is the 2-sided object as a result of importing, in game it appears black. (Black line indicates the outside of the model, RED line indicates the hollow part of the birdge)
