I was cruising at 40m with no surface contacts and had over 100m below my kiel. All of a sudden we start taking heavy damage which instantly destroys the flak guns, periscope, sonar and deck gun and the forward compartments start to flood heavily. While my damage control group manage to put a stop to the flooding, I hit the seafloor at 140m and blow the tanks to get on the surface. All repairs are made, and I have 1 dead radioman as well as 2 injured; one from the damage control team. What else could this be? There was nothing around for miles, and I doubt it was a mine, especially where I was - in the middle of nowhere. |
