SH3 Commander Question

Hi, new to the community and the game. First of all thank you very much for GW, amazing doesnt even get close

Now, i have a question about S3 Commander and its rollback funciton. do i have to rollback everytime i exit the game? Obviously i save the game before i exit but how will the rollback affect the next game i play?If it helps, i always start the game from the SH3 Commander button.
