SH3 Commander Question

Hi, new to the community and the game. First of all thank you very much for GW, amazing doesnt even get close

Now, i have a question about S3 Commander and its rollback funciton. do i have to rollback everytime i exit the game? Obviously i save the game before i exit but how will the rollback affect the next game i play?If it helps, i always start the game from the SH3 Commander button.

Thanks

Polynike

Good Hunting

Rollback is for uninstalling commander. Don't click it for fun or anything. If you do want to uninstall, click rollback and then uninstall in control panel.

Many thanks

Ive also downloaded a load of songs for the gramophone but is there a way to randomize their order of play from within the game?

Cheers

Wrong!!!!!!!!!! AVerySuperMarket

:D Hi there Polynike :D

Welcome to SUBSIM

Don't be afraid of using the " Rollback " funciton in SH3Cmdr3.1 .
That function is to rollback mods to enable/disenable if you have
" JSGME " when you're in port .
You always have to be in port or finished with a patrol before you can enable/disenable a mod . The "Rollback " function is for that :yep:
Another thing ! Be sure to use the " Rollback " function when you're gonna uninstall the game .:)

Good Luck to you:sunny:

Thanks Starlion.
So if ive understood it correctly when i rollback while in port any mods installed will be uninstalled? For example if i activate the balck sea mod. play the patrols then rollback the Black Sea mod will be unactivated?

No. If you want to install/uninstall a mod, rollback SH3 before doing so.

To randomise gramophone tracks, go to SH3 Options > Career Options. Randomise tracks should be at the bottom.

Laufen zum Ziel 01-18-09 03:04 PM

After you exit the game and Prior to installing any mods
you have to roll back Commander. There is a check box that will
do this automatically for you so you won't have to do it when
you install a mod. A roll back will not delete SH3 Commander.

Follow the example above from Laufen zum Ziel....there is also an option in SH3 Commander Career Options to randomise gramaphone tracks http://www.psionguild.org/forums/ima...s/thumbsup.gif

Ive looked at the options in SH3 and do not see the Randomize tracks. What i do see is the word music and a tick.

What version of SH Commander is the one shown? my SHC screen is very different, lke the look with the Wehrpass
