When I got back she was about 1k out, so I decided to take a peek. Hey! The fog had cleared! Oh LOOKIE! A large tanker! I noted my plot put me a bit closer to her track than I usually liked. But, still good. And not too close so as the fish wouldn't arm before striking. I quickly added a third fish to the salvo, just to make sure. Set the first and second to slow speed and the third to fast. I figured to fire aft to bow.

When the time was ripe I let the salvo fly and waited.

I grabbed the plate of cookies and was reaching for the Dew when all hell broke loose!!!

The screen went whitish orange in a flash... the roar in the room sounded like Deep Purple themselves were in the room (forgot to turn the sound down after lookin for her)!!! The Dew arced through the air like a Reggie Miller 3 pointer. The cookies scattered as if shot from a confetti cannon, which sent the dog off like a 7 year old on a sugar high at an easter egg hunt.

I crawled back to the screen and swung the scope around to see nothing but flotsam and floating bodies. YES!!!.. I sat there for a moment before chuckling and ordering the crew to surface the boat...

I turned to survey the damage done to the room in time to see the wife walk off, once again, muttering, "jackass"...

"HEY, how was I to know she was loaded with oil"????

At least the dog likes me.
