Default RN sinks the Nelson

So I intercept a convoy in BF13 (I think, it was in the Irish Sea). I only have 6 torpedoes left because I used the rest on single ships. The patrol was pretty disappointing. When I get into periscope view of the convoy I am thrilled to discover that at the center lies a "Nelson" or one of those other class BB's that looks like it.
I spend the whole time getting into firing range and nail it woth 2 impact torps set at 5m and 2 mags set for beneath her keel (11m or somewhere in there) They all hit forward of the third turret.
My stern tube misses a fat tanker because I wasn't paying attention whe I fired it but the inevitable sinking of this BB makes it all worthwhile. I decide to remain in the area to make sure I get credit for the kill.
An escort shows up to bother me and I go deep to evade detection. Sadly for him, he detects me anyway and begins attacking so I sink him with my last torpedo.
Two more escorts make for my position so I dive to 40m and position myself beneath the immobilized BB to evade detection.
Amazingly they detect me anyway and begin circling the half-sunk ship. At first my plan was to wait them out but after an hour of 1x waiting I decided to just get out of there. But I could not leave without that ship sinking.
I decided on a clever plan. The sea was a flat calm so I went to periscope depth right next to the BB and the DDs opened fire on my periscope as I imagined they would. Their frequently misplaced shots struck the battleship and sank it.
After this I went to within 5m of the bottom and crept away.
I escaped but to my dismay I was not credited with the sinking .

I just wish I had gotten some screenshots.

D'oh! That's bad luck Fortunately, you got away, and the RN has lost another Nelson

I thought RN ships would engage eachother, if they accidently hit one another?

It would have been nice to see the Nelson respond and sink a few destroyers.
Anyway, clever stratagem, Bookworm. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know, but I'm not one to use that type of language in a public forum.
