Default I like it

I must say that GWX 2 is great . The AI is the coolest thing that i'm experimenting with. I was just south of the celtic sea and east of portsmouth. I found a large cargo sailing into the channel. I intercepted and two torps later it sunk. Because i intercepted submerged i decided to surface to replenish air and batteries. Right as I surfaced 2 hurrucanes swooped down out of nowhere killing two of my crew. Crash Dive!!! 5 min. later two destroyers arrived and pounded me until my fatal collision wiht the ocean floor. So yeah the AI is very good now. Makes the game even more fun. P.S where are the floating bases? And thankyou GWX team.

Heh, learned your lesson did you? shame about the fatal bottom-crash... remember to use the echosounder your navigator has to find out how much room you have under you, preferably before the DDs show up

The "floating" bases do not in fact float, they're built on concrete pilings, and you can find some in the Thames estuary, good luck with that....

Also, the forts don't show up in game until the time that they were constructed. I don't recall the dates without looking, but they are listed in the GWX Manual

Mowgly,
You like shallow water? That's sort of suicidal. I'm going to visit the forts after the war

yea i've begun to enjoy shallow water sorties. I'm playing in 1941 but will have to check the manual again. I knew i was in shallow water but didnt expect holes to be put in my boat by planes and destroyers at the time.

I'm a deep water sailor. First GWX 2 patrol 62,000 tons, 7 torpedoes remaining. Einz, zwei, hoochie woochie.

Don't go after June 43 or you might end up getting your Balz blown off :p
