Nope. In the installation archive there are about 10 root files and a "support" folder. Nothing like you mention in there.

Should have been a folder with that download called "Bonus something or another."

I know ... my program is a download version too. I the above mentioned folder there is a map. It's not too clear but its still a map.
Hi Snuffy & Pv This is another reason I don't buy downloads.

I can scan my map and send it to you. Do you have a printer ?

I don't miss the map and I've had zero problems with my download game. I've actually had less trouble than many people with the CD (no need for the no-CD hack, no disk-based copy protection, nor do I have to hunt up the CD to re-install as examples.) I'm very happy with it. Modding is not a problem either nor have I had any trouble with the patches. When I bought the download, I knew I was not geting the delux version and the price was about $5 less than the going rate on the 1st day of release. Another benefit is I was able to start playing the game the 1st day it was released. I had ordered a CD online over a month before release and on the release day, predicted delivery was still a month away. It was another two months before local stores started stocking it. All-in-all, I could not have done better and don't regret it a bit.

No need to send me the map. If however one of you other download guys that has the map pdf wants to email it, send me a private message. If it's a bother, again, I'm enjoying the game without it just using historical data and maps I download off the net. As far as mine fields, when it becomes apparent local traffic appears to avoid an obvious access point, I think I will too!

Default Mines

I've seen one mine only, a floating mine attached to a chain from the ocean floor. I was avoiding a destroyer and stopped underwater near the bottom, I went to external view to check my sub and sure enough I'd stopped without 100 feet of this single mine. I searched and searched for more but there was just this one there only, it's the first and only one I've ever seen!

Here's a link to the map. My game didn't come with a map either nor was it in any of the game folders. http://www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.4902

Default depending on what campaing mod you are running

The mine layout may change. T.M. from Ducimus / RFB from Berry / RSRD from lurker_hlb3 / and better campaign layers from Tater.

Tater added a lot of mine area's in his work and some of it was added to T.M. and RSRD as well as his own work.

The problem is you do not get a warning till it is too late :rotfl: :rotfl:

Usualy find them around coast line's or paninsulas.

They are in several places all over the place and come into play at differnt times in the game during the war.

Around truck island

Around the Mariana's island's

Around the Celebes island

Inbetween Java and Sumatra

The northern tip of Japan

The channel between Japan and Korea entering the sea of Japan

around Sigon and Indo China

and other places.

Date's and time's change according to when the Jap's expand to a new area.

Early war much closer to Japan.
