I always sail home unless our fuel tank, rudders, or something else criticly important is broken. For some reason my crew won't let me use all their sheets to make a sail

I play at 100% so I have to go all the way back.
I did not know it was not an option until I lost both rudders once and went back and forth so I could get past the Orkneys and I got to the coast of Norway but when I tried to end the mission it said my choice was to abandon the career or continue. I ended the career, no way to maneuver!

I do TC at 2048.

I navigate back to where I can see the lighthouses. I used to park in the same berth that I began, but that led to problems with my tonnage being 0 and my ships sunk being 0, occasionally.

Also i modded my renown, 1000 to the grid and 1000 return to home.

Perhaps too renown but i think that this system, buy things using points , its not good for experienced skippers.
