Well there were about six of them. Changed them to mono and played the game last night. So far ......it is working ok....will update on the status. Thanx for the help as I really like this mod......Rick

You can also use Audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ IMHO it's the best freeware Sound Editing software around. It's simplicity itself to change a stereo file to mono, with the added bonus that you can save the resulting mono file as either MP3 or .ogg. |

this sounds interesting, but i've had a coupla conflicts with 2 mods, Racerboys SH4 effects for SH3 and internal life mod v1.1. just after loading and the control room fades in i get an error and have to CAD out. disabled those mods. gonna see what happens now
edit: well Sh3 ran once this sound mod was disabled in JSGME, but there were sounds i hadn't hear before, like when going silent running ![]() ![]()

i'm most impressed with this one. on using my deck gun i was quite suprised to hear the loader saying "los" and the freight train sound of a shell on its way, not to mention the actual sound of a shell being loaded

Hello! I thought, that these works are not so interesting. For a long time did not visit this post. Thanks for interest to my work. I regret for your problems. At an exit from SH3 we already discussed a question on a mistake here (look the first messages). I had no problems with it. But I used mod "Racerboy's SH4 effects (and more) for SH3". The interesting situation Now has turned out. When I in Atlantic - was not present a mistake. When I on Mediterranean sea and Black sea - a mistake am. But effects RANCERBOY are magnificent (many thanks Ranceboy for pleasure). And I do not pay attention to a mistake at an exit from mine SH3 GWX 1.03.
For myself I have made small corrections. Already for a long time. But as there is an interest to a sound - I have made for you small mod: Correction of a sound and ADD for mod RB SH4 Effects for SH3 2 02 Read me: The idea of this sound mod belongs RANCERBOY (Racerboy's SH4 effects (and more) for SH3). I have simply added space and volume in a sound. - Has still added elements in the some "Airplane damaged" (WildcatGr, Catalina, Mosquitos). - Now if we hear a sound of explosion in a submarine - it has an echo of metal. Just a further update....since I changed the stereo files to mono, the mod has been working like a charm....no CTDs...no error msgs.......thanx again Racerboy....and Poul

Very well. I am glad that at you all by way of. But my trade - the sound producer and the composer for cinema and TV. I cannot listen to a bad sound. MONO the sound kills space. For me - let there will be a mistake, but there will be a good sound. Alleluia!
One request and question for RACERBOY. Or for that who can help. I have made a sound for " Snorkel up! "and " Snorkel down! ". What it is necessary to doin a file "Sh3.sdl" to include it in SH3 GWX 1.03? Thanks. |
