The Tommies should shudder and shake. I' ,Balz the Magnificent, have sailed in a grand IXC boat with better acustics for my choir and lots more torpedoes.

Mr. Churchill, if one of your ships is missing, I just got one on my third day out. Yeah. whoosh, los! Kaboom. compliments of the great Balz.

Meanwhile I'm teaching my choir our new victory song: We got the 200,000 tons Hoochie Woochie.

U-124 didn leave on patrol on the 19th of march due to periscope and engine sabotage
problems where fixed on the 8th of april, we left the next and our 4th combat patrol started
on the 15th we found a medium convoy headding for england
weather was perfect..clouds,stormy sea and it was night
first torpedo attack was unsuccesfull, we fired 4 torps and only 1 hit
but the next few attacks where very succesfull
in all we sunk 8 ships from the convoy and 2 on the way home
resulting in 56806 tons sunk

here is a picture of me checking out the convoy deciding what target to sink in the next attack

Hood again

My old career was ended by SH3Commander so of course the show must go on. Here we are:

OLT Fuchs onboard U-15 came recently to the attention of the BDU by sending the following radio message:

+++---+++---+++---+++---+++---
1939, September, 7th
from: german submarine
to: Mr. Churchill

Found your Battlecruiser HMS Hood near the harbour of Scapa Flow. As we are at war, I hereby inform you that you need to build a new one.

U-225 made it back to port
after a rather succesfull patrol
we found an enemy convoy few days into the patrol where HMS Nelson just happend to be
2 impact and 1 magnetic was fired..no more Nelson..rather Nelsunk:rotfl:
we then started taking out the escorts (1 blackswan and 4 flower class)
after that we sailed into the convoy and started sinking ships with the deckgun and using our torpedos
but before using the last torpedo a destroyer came to the convoys aid..dont know where from but we sunk him too
in all we sunk 12 merchants and 7 warships for 111320 tons
but disaster struck on the way home during a storm when suddently an unknown destroyer came speeding out of the fog and ramming us
managed to evade it and return to base

CLASSIFIED INFORMATION
From: U-572 (Type VIIC)
Date: Early 1943

After it was decided to end our operations from base at La Spezia, we received orders at the end of patrol to move through the strait of Gibraltor and dock at La Rochelle. Having repaired and a new stock of provisions onboard from a friendly port we've now almost made clear through "the eye of the needle" in an uncoventional manner, using poor visibility and least guarded parts of the area to determine our route of transit.

Despite the level of constant stress due to our proximity to Gibraltor, I could not resist all the convoy activity through the bottleneck and so we sunk a couple of large tankers as well as another troops transport. The British nearly had me in shallow waters a couple of times. We sunk a V&W with a lucky aft torpedo shot at extremely close range after it caught me with my pants down at periscope depth and there is less than a 100m under keel, so once again, Davey Jones will have to come up and claim his victims.

It was a smaller patrol boat that probably spotted my periscope and radioed in for help. Impossible in this weather. A few more unplanned incidents like this one and I'll be worried about my crew. Perhaps this is the test we were warned about and I feel confident to know that my crew has lasted through most of it. But we're far from home and there are still torpedos left to win this war.

I'm ready for anything. Having spread so much death and misery, it'd only be fair if we met our end here.

U-572 out.

Finally back my good old U-49

3. december '39
switching from U-15 / Uboot-Flottille Weddigen
to U-49 / Uboot-Flotille Saltzwedel.

After becoming germany's top ace on a type IIb and already sinking Hood and a carrier it is now time to move to my beloved U-49.

First patrol will bring me to right to the heart of the british supply routes: AM52
