Default JSGME help

hi all,
i know i posted this before but i still do something rong i think.
i downloaded several mods(improved campaign layer v0.63, browning .50 mg v1.1a, and the realistic battery life mod.) but none of them works.
so please tell me what i do rong:
first i downloaded JSGME and put it in the silent hunter 4 map( when that didnt work i put it in the Data map and that didnt work to)

so you can see that it made a MODS map and in that map the mods are in these order: realistic battery life> data>......

when i open JSGME i see this:

so i dont know what i do rong.
when i start sh4 i dont see any difference so the mods are not in the game.
what do i rong?
thx

It goes into your main SH4 folder, not your data folder. Run once to activate, you should see a mods folder, then go into the program to activate\de-activate.

Here is an illustrated guidehttp://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/t...3?r=3031058373

Also, as a tip, I created Desktop short cuts for the 'mods' folder and the JSGME. So now, I just download the mod to my SH4 download file on the Desktop...extract it and then drag and drop it into my 'mods' folder. Then I click on the JSGME and activate the new mod. The whole process takes less than a minute.

Good idea. Makes me wonder whether there would be benefit in adding an "Import" option to JSGME? :hmm:

For example, extract a mod anywhere, open JSGME, click "Import", select where you extracted the mod to and JSGME would autmatically (and correctly) move it into its structure and add it to the list. :hmm:

Just a thought. I have v1.7 on the go now...

i've been doin the same thing as TDK, except i keep the downloads on my backup drive rather than the main in case something happens to it. then it's just a case of running the installer and directing it to the MODS folder, unless the mod isn't jsgme ready
