Default File name for ugly orange sub marker that is overlaid on the surface?

I would like to delete that marker and can't seem to find the graphic in the data directory. Hellpp!!!

It is UMark.dds. I just changed it to UMark.dds.bak and I no longer get the ugly surface marker in external view.

Another good option is change the marker colour... for example to grey or dark blue :hmm:

You know you can just hit CTRL + NumpadDelete to remove it?

Not if you rename the file to a bak file! No file, the system has nothing to load! no orange marker. i always hated that thing, even in SH3.

I usually rename files with "-Orig" so that when I run some of my System Maintenance Software, the files are not selected with other ".Bak" file for deletion during the cleaning process.

I love that little orange marker !! Would be hard to do any good testing
without it. I would NEVER know where my sub was in relation to the other
ships....

I too prefer it. I like to look at the ships just before the Torps hit, then I fly back to the sub

Its not only an immersion killer in my opinion, but is bad for screenshots. Thats why I get rid of it.
