File name for ugly orange sub marker that is overlaid on the surface?
I would like to delete that marker and can't seem to find the graphic in the data directory. Hellpp!!! :)

Is it called UMark.dds?
|
It is UMark.dds. I just changed it to UMark.dds.bak and I no longer get the ugly surface marker in external view.

It gets annoying, nice to remove it:yep:
RDP |
Another good option is change the marker colour... for example to grey or dark blue :hmm:
|
|
I did a mod to remove it a long time ago:
http://hosted.filefront.com/GuillermoZS/ "No Orange Mark.rar" Enjoy! |
You know you can just hit CTRL + NumpadDelete to remove it?

I usually rename files with "-Orig" so that when I run some of my System Maintenance Software, the files are not selected with other ".Bak" file for deletion during the cleaning process.

I love that little orange marker !! Would be hard to do any good testing
without it. I would NEVER know where my sub was in relation to the other ships.... JIM |
I too prefer it. I like to look at the ships just before the Torps hit, then I fly back to the sub :yep:

Boored of the ugly orange marker ??
Now is the blue marker. :rotfl: it can be tuned to every colour or tonality :88) http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/6...52578bmkh1.jpg |
Its not only an immersion killer in my opinion, but is bad for screenshots. Thats why I get rid of it.
