Sun Shot Navigation

HI Guys.

Just been watching a video on "You Tube" somthing like "Hardcore Navigation in Silent Hunter III".

I found it very interesting and would like to give it a try.

Can anyone tell me if there is a mod or a config file change to lose the sub icon on map view ?

My set up at the moment is SH3 1.4 GWX 1.3 and about to install SH3 commander.

Is the above doable with this config ?

what do you mean?

Like no automatic position cursor on the nav map?

Yes, and simulated sun or star shots
