Default Any ideas?

Is there a better way to going to grid BE 96? be cause this is my route. Any ideas here? A safe short cut maybe?

I'm still "just entering" the AN grid. It's night time now. So...it's ok to surface...
It's sept 3 1939, Type VIIB: U-46, (no mods), (and no realism cause I'm a coward...)
first patrol, the never ending patrol...(Don't ask about that)

All I ask is for a better way of reaching Grid BE 96. After 24 hours; I can return to Kiel.

Any ideas?

You can make it shorter by taking the straight between the Orkneys and the Shetlands (always some traffic there) then cross AM52 - another good hunting place - and finally go down along the irish coast just outside of shallow waters - traffic there too lone merchies in 39...

I assume you're using stock SH3?

If so, I take this route.....

I'm thinking early `39 in a VIIB cut through the English channel.
That way you can practice your lookouts
Although the above suggestions will most likely be more 'tonnageable'*.

* new word in the SH3 dictionary, go ahead look it up

Yup, that's the best route--if Using GWX, you have the Kiel Canal

He did mention he's not using any mods. That canal is not exclusive to GWX or WAC. You like the canal? I don't. More of a PIA. Besides once Norway kicks in there's always a few Cargo's or tramp steamers to gun down the long way around.
