Default Total Lunar Eclipse Expected Saturday

LONDON (AP) -- The moon will turn shades of amber and crimson Saturday night as it passes behind the Earth's shadow in the first total lunar eclipse in three years.
The eclipse will be at least partly visible from Asia to the Americas, although those in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will have the best view.

Same project, but too much clouds over me.
When the next one?
Will I have another chance?

'Out here' [with no light pollution], clear sky, three quarters full and turning a dull red .. a truly fantastical magical experience

10:49 and we have it, slight hint of white and a lot of dull red.

WOW, don't you just like the wonder of the night sky.

Well, it's past its maximum now. (and that's at the same time for everyone, unlike solar eclipses)

Really nice, red with a bit of white, clearly visible, good view with 7x50 binoculars. It was cloudy, but the area around the moon was clear around the time of the maximum.

Yeah lovely clear night here too

Cool sight
Beats a solar eclipse anyday
Then I prefer the moon
