Total Lunar Eclipse Expected Saturday
LONDON (AP) -- The moon will turn shades of amber and crimson Saturday night as it passes behind the Earth's shadow in the first total lunar eclipse in three years.
The eclipse will be at least partly visible from Asia to the Americas, although those in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will have the best view. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...03-02-10-48-14 |

Well, it's past its maximum now. (and that's at the same time for everyone, unlike solar eclipses)
Really nice, red with a bit of white, clearly visible, good view with 7x50 binoculars. It was cloudy, but the area around the moon was clear around the time of the maximum. |
Yeah lovely clear night here too
Cool sight Beats a solar eclipse anyday Then I prefer the moon  |
