Dive Out of Control--latest episode posted

Last week, we left the crew of the U-551 in a damaged boat going through 200 meters in a dive out of control. Will the boat get crushed? Or blasted by depth charges?

Read the latest, nail-biting episode of The Outsider on the U-551 page of my kielman webbie

Ouch, Moon -- did you have previous damage?
I've been down to 250 in healthy VIIB & VIIC

Interesting how in the last couple of days there have been reports of crushes at a depth I thought to be reasonably safe. I'll start getting nervous earlier.

I have been there also but not by choice . I think between 250m and 300m you are really gambling on the engineers slide rule and the hope he was not hung over the day he designed hull construction

I wonder if GWX weakens your hull as the boat ages. :hmm:

I don't think that is modeled in but it would be a neat idea. In other words as she gets high count in the amount the boat is dived, she gets weaker.....uggghhhh maybe about dive 50 she gets real ugly....hope you make port for a new one....
