Which is your favorite sub in the game?

So far, anyone that survives a mission-patrol.

I bounce back and forth between the VIIC and the IXC, depending on my mood so I guess you could say those are my favorites. I have a definate least favorite, though: I hate the II's and will not use them. Just not enough torpedos for me!

whats the difference between a IXB and an IXC coz the only difference i can see is the IXC has a slower dive time, does the IXC carry more fish?

A bit more fuel and thus more range. I believe this is coded into the game.

IXB's range is 12,000 KM @ 10 kts
IXC's range is 13,450 KM @ 10 Kts and has 1 more spare torpedo.

What can it be? VIIc!

VIIc simply because it´s the most beautiful submarine ever made. I also prefer the Atlantic battle and don´t like long distance travelling.

In the game, I like the Type II interior best, because it really gives you this "being there" feeling, it´s so cramped and crowded. The Type VII and IX interiors offer way too ample space inside, I´ve been to the real one , U-995, in Laboe near Kiel, and you really feel confined when inside.

Cheers, AS

The IXB and IXC both have the same load of torpedoes. 22 of them to be exact.

The IXD2 has 24.

Well if you install SH3 Commander, then with each new patrol, you have the option of changing your assigned patrol grid to avoid taking those long trips if you don't want to.
