Hey there, what they say is Fahrt beträgt, (Number) Knoten! beträgt is a word which is afaik not 1:1 translatable into english.

Excellent, exactly what I was after, thank you.
I understand the usage of the term, things being context driven. In this case loosely equating to 'amounts to'. Set 'drive' to (amount to/make for) <number> knots. For that to be one word is quite... efficient. Thanks again. p.s. it was pain to search for, as phonetically I initially was hearing 'betracht', which made no sense. |

As a follow on, does anyone have and able to share the exact German phraseology used in the SH5 speech?
Some of it is a little too quick for me, but I wish to understand precisely what's being said, in German. |
