What I would like is the ability to pause the game without bringing up a menu

I like to scoot the camera around to look for good screenshot opportunities

As it is at the moment, there is always the possibility that when I return to my sub I have been launched upon and had not realised it because I was so focused on getting a good screenshot

Just a thought
