Need help to install Silent Hunter 5 - via Steam

Hello friends

I just bought a new laptop gaming computer with the following specs:

Alienware 17 R3
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHZ (up to 3.5 GHZ)
Hard Drive: 1TB
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M 3GB DDR5
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

I am planning to download and install Silent Hunter 5 with my Steam account but I need someone with patience to explain me how to do to run It correctly in Windows 10 64-bits. Will I be able to run It? Can I run SH5 at maximum specs?

first heya and welcome

installing sh5 on steam is like iinstall any other games on steam but the biggest problem come when u need to patch the game with tdw's generic patcher .....without this patcher the game is unplayable so i really suggest u to buy a non steam version of the game if u wanna play it....click on the link in my signature and read there pls there are links to many threads and how to use the patcher with the steam version of the game

Thank you for your suggestion. The problem is I can´t get a cd or dvd copy because I am now living overseas in a remote town. Could you recommend me a downloable version in a reliable website?

always u can use amazon and subsim will get also a small amount of $...
