My mad, capricious pre-World Cup prediction isn't looking too hot. Poor Cameroon. But good for Croatia, they look like a good team and I´d love for them to advance.

Beer is chilled, rum is at room temperature and curry is booked...all ready for the match, now watch some Englishmen go and spoil my day

Spain are blaming their loss this evening on the weather.

Apparently it was 2 Chile.

Speaking of lacking class you do have Rooney on your team.

Look on the bright side. Finally the media can talk about something other than Rooney's inability to score in a world cup when discussing England.

So, England has to root for the team that beat them in the first game to have any chance of getting through now

Maybe it was only me.

It looked like England didn't have this "Hunger" when they were in the Uruguay's goal area. They had plenty of visit in that area, but the "hunger" for scoring was like it was not there.

Earlier in this thread I wrote that I guessed that England and Italy was the two team that wouid go into the next round. While I was writing that I had a memory from an Danish article from a Football magazines.

"Players from Premier League have a world standard..."
So I thought they could play even with countries like Italy, Brazil a.s.o

In their effort to avoid penalty shootouts, I think they have exaggerated it a bit.
