Another great source is the site Archive.org:

https://archive.org/

They have public domain material in all media: books, video, audio books, lectures, etc. I've found a lot of interesting items here, some of which are amazing. They also have a function called the 'Wayback Machine' that allows you to enter a URL for an old website and see an archived copy of the site as it was previously...
