I just had a look at the biography of a ditty entitled 1601, penned by my favorite author... Mark Twain.
It's a hilarious fireside conversation with the Tudors about crepitation.:haha:

Had hope to find some books about the American civil war.

Thank you! Another great site bookmarked. I've already seen many that I've long wanted to read, or reread, but never bothered simply because I didn't want to buy them.

Between Gutenburg and fullbooks, I have had to buy only one book for my E-reader. :yeah:

It is good to be cheap. :smug:

The only e-reader I have is my computer. I'm merrily downloading a bunch of books I've always wanted to read once but didn't want to bother buying or going to the library for. :sunny:

If you have not thought of it, use a Kindle or Nook app on your pc. The options to set font size and formatting are really a pleasure on the eyes compared to the default text you would be reading otherwise.
(Nook app uses the EPUB format also available from libraries)
