Wednesday it was 70F and I drove around with the sunroof open (no shorts because school doesn't allow them during the winter months, but I had light pants on).

Thursday it was stupid cold.

7 degrees F today here in Colorado. Last night the low was -10F

Tomorrow it is supposed to be a balmy 14F.

I'm really hating this cold spell.

It was between -5°C to -7°C all day yesterday and my furnace decided to pack it in..

The pilot would light but not stay lit. Conventional wisdom says that's the thermocouple but changing it did not fix the problem. This was at about 10 AM. We finally got a repair guy to show up at about 6 PM (I was originally told 4) and he set it right somehow.

Needless to say it was a chilly day with everyone bundled up tight!

Yea, that is a tough call.

It's -3°C here right now. Clear sky and not much wind. But on Wed. we had our first winter storm. Lot's of snow and very high winds. Check this out. Happened over in Nova Scotia. We went across this causeway in October.

The plan is going wonderfully.
