The Humble Bundle Thread (Updated 31 Jan 2014)

A dedicated thread to Humble Bundle, I know it's been mentioned in several other threads but the offers are so regular now it really should have its own home.

Most of you are probably aware of Humble Bundle - you usually get some decent games for next to nothing and the money you pay goes to charities. There are usually 3-5 charities to choose from and you can select how much of what you pay each gets, so if you don't agree with funding a particular one then that's fine. You can also select the Humble Bundle site to get some of your cash to keep running.

The way it works? You pick a price you're willing to pay (over $1) for the basic amount of games. Usually there is a couple of games extra, a little bit nicer than the basic bundle, and to get these you just have to pay over the average already paid by previous clients.

For instance, the current bundle (for the next 13-and-a-bit days) contains:

Dead Space
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
Crysis 2: Maximum Edition
Mirror's Edge
Dead Space 3
Medal of Honor

All for a dollar or more.

If you pay above the average, currently $4.74 you also get:

Battlefield 3
The Sims 3

Just a little more info to go. Usually they give you Steam Keys, to be redeemed at the Steam store and downloaded from there, this bundle is named the Humble Origin Bundle as it's from Origin instead of Steam, so stay away if you're still paranoid about downloading games or installing either Steam or Origin. But there is really no need. So go folks, give to charity and get some great games at the same time. Already got one or more of the games, just give the key to a friend.

I'll update this thread, or anyone else can as and when new bundles come out.

One of my new favorite websites.

I snagged the Introversion bundle last week with Darwinia, Multiwinia, DEFCON and Uplink.

The only things I'm relatively interested in out of the new bunch is Burnout and Dead Space. I rather like the Burnout games.

And now, a word from the guy who made 11 million people aware of this, Felix Auf Kjellberg:

Origin is horrendous. Just dreadful. I've tried to download Battlefield 3 since yesterday but the ludicrous downloader decides to freeze constantly and when it's not busy freezing or otherwise being an idiot and it indeed even downloads the game, the speed is barely half of what's the bandwith's capability. Apparently it's impossible to download anything from there at least for me.

I suppose I should have expected troubles because EA.

Pretty much why I'm on the fence here. I'd happily pay a dollar to get Dead Space and Burnout on Steam...but I just don't want to right now. With EA, there's always a catch.

If it's any consolation I don't have problems with Origin, maybe it's because every man and his dog who didn't have BF3 is now trying to download it?

So I was gifted the Origin Bundle....now I have extra copies of stuff.

Medal of Honor - Origin
Burnout Paradise - Both
Mirror's Edge - Origin Only
Dead Space 3 -No more
Crysis 2 - On the fence for Steam Origin for sure
Dead Space - Origin only

Won't use Origin Keys for these so PM me on those.

Steam Keys...If you have something to trade, cool...but I'm feeling generous

PM me if you're interested in trading or if you want a key since I'd hate to see these go to waste.

Added to the current Humble Origin Bundle is C&C: Red Alert 3 and Populous.

That stands, at the moment, as ten games for just $0.49 each!!!

Red - I believe I do as I just bought the latest HB. I don't play it or have an interest in it. So if you want it - shoot me a PM.
