I practiced my manual targeting by sneaking into a port. being at a standstill and shooting docked ships. This way I know what info is important and how to input it fast enough so I can get practice the calculations for the most important thing. Then practice on a slow moving boat. Hitting an alerted destroyer on your first go is pretty Fing tough.
![]() Speed Speed = Distance ÷ Time Time = Distance ÷ Speed Distance = Speed × Time When I started with manual targeting I cheated like mad i paused the game and ALT Tabbed to this website http://www.machinehead-software.co.u...time_calc.html I still cheat sometimes and use the auto targeting with the trick of 'lock on target, break lock at the place on ship you want to hit and then fire asap'! I usually only use this on the escorts and enjoy the manual targeting on the importnant targets. AND to auto fire your deck gun... order your men to man the gun then zoom in on a ship using your standard binoculars when your retuclue is over it it should go red, press space bar. |
