Not by using government as a vehicle of redistribution. Jesus did not advocate forced governmental "charity".
Its rather a silly question as it would seem pretty obvious you are talking out your rear end? But to give you a chance to show you are not talking complete crap can you please supply some scripture to back up that nonsense?

I'll tell you what...Show me the verse where Jesus ever said “give your money to Cesar so Cesar can redistribute it according to the dictates of his conscience”! and we'll talk.

I see that you're one of these self-proclaimed "Christians" who spends all his time proving that his version is the correct one, and none of it actually proclaiming the Gospel.

Well no. I just find the perversion of the message of Christ and the awkward twisting of it with political socialism as disturbing. One not need be a dedicated Christian to be able to have read and comprehended what the message of Christ was. Christ's commandments about the poor are PERSONAL responsibilities, not a collective responsibility. The rich man was supposed to go sell his possessions and give the money to the poor of his own free will, not have a Government take the money from him and dole it out.

Plus if Christ were a socialist he would have never called Matthew away from his job as a tax collector. There is much in the Bible to disprove the claims of those seeking to rebrand Christ as a Marxist.

So you are one of those "christians" then
Why is it the "christians" are always shouting about Christianity

So young man what did that Jewish carpenter who said be nice to people say about giving money to Ceasar?

You are certainly perverted in that sense.

But you are not a Christian let alone a dedicated one, you are one of those "christians" who seem to have neither read or comprehended.

I am sure in an alternate universe far far away that might make some sort of sense

Once again its the dodgy ones making the most noise

EDIT: Ah nevermind. I'll be better than that.

"What would Jesus do"?

I think it's a song I heard at a Cavary Chapel (Chuck Smith church) back in the late 80's

Jesus said, "I must be about my fathers business"

That business includes love one another, forgive one another and hold no grudges aginst one another

Jesus would love his enemies and heal anyone with faith even a Roman officer's servant was healed due to the Roman officer's faith.

Jesus would be looking for those looking for him and rejecting those that reject him.

Jesus would be a joyful giver

Jesus would be the seed sower

Jesus would not fret (it only causes harm)

Jesus would tell the truth and only the truth, so help me God

Jesus is a lot like General Douglas MacArthur.

Who is reported to have said, quoting the General

"A better world shall emerge based on faith and understanding"

"Age wrinkles the body. Quitting wrinkles the soul"

and like General MacArthur Jesus even said, "I shall return"

"It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it"

There's all sorts of groups and ideology's out there that use Christ, the bible, and christiantiy in general to further their own ideas or agenda's. From Democrat's, to Republicans, right on down the gutter to white supremacist and racist groups. Personally, i'm disgusted by it all. They all preach compassion, and understanding, yet the posses none of these qualities themselves. So, excuse me while I not pay attention to ANYONE who pulls out the Christ card in any way, shape, form, capacity, or context.

Good Lord I hope that's not accurate!

Jesus was certainly not a pompous, oft-erring military megalomaniac who was about to nuke China when he was finally relieved.

Good point. Everyone wants the moral high ground, and what higher ground to try and take than Jesus?

I didn't take issue with what you said mookie. I take issue with the context. Especially in light of what the occupy movement intends to do with the WWJD message. I take issue with those wishing to try to rebrand Christ as a political marxist when he actually was very far removed from politics. What is being attempted with the WWJD message is delusional at best.

Biblical Jesus: Give your money to the poor.

Socialist Jesus: Give your neighbor’s money to the poor.

This ain't rocket science.
