What is it with Midwest teams wanting Favre?

He is beyond done, let him make his Wrangler Jeans commercials in peace.

Is it a redneck thing my yankee mind cannot wrap around?

Or should I be rooting on the return of Steve Young to the 49ers?

(I kinda am, we would be undefeated)

While I've been accused of being a redneck many times, we in the midwest do not have a slow drawl...Redman in our jeans pocket nor eat hominy grits for breakfast...

I've lost all interest in this season, it's about the same time proportionally that I lose interest in the mlb with the cubs performance.

I will say this though, Bears will not win another game this season w/out Cutler.

I felt the the same about the 49ers past 7 years. I feel the same about the New York Knicks all my life. Their last title was (like you and your Cubs) before I was born.

I try not to complain, I am a lifelong Yankee fan, and being a Yankee fan, am not allowed to complain about lack of winning.

Go 49ers! Win or lose, it is a true dream season. Thanks for making me smile again!
