You said nobody has changed it before? Then what damage texture is this? ´Coz torpedo damage and shell texture´s have been changed in RuB.

It should be available by tonight.

Yes indeed it does change the stock texture that RUB improved but the texture I have used is a series of real images of torn metal, not just the blackened scoring that previously was available. See for yourself

My only concern is that the scarring in the screenshot is so faint, I can hardly see it...

I see what you mean, perhaps this will help:

To compare with RUB texture....

There you go, I hope you find these to your liking.

FYI: Damage done by shells and torpedoes all use the same damaged metal texture, since these are above water, one could assume they are shell damage.

Does have a certain 3D effect... could use a bit more dark scorching... worth a try...

Aha!, that's what I wanted to see. Heavy damage. Now I can put it into the list.

EDIT: Wait, no, I can't. Who made it?

The mod itself seems to look good, but is something wrong with your monitor or your screenshot program? It's almost like there's a layer of haze obscuring the image (no, it doesn't seem to be ingame fog).

Hmm... that's right. Now that you mention it, it does seem hazy...

I love the 3d effect! I`ll give it a try as soon as I go on my next patrol on WaW!

Thanks!

Has anyone tried playing the Bismarck single mission and using the external camera to pan around?

The framerate drags to a halt after about a minute as the Bismarck gets pumelled, due to all the transparent decal textures being applied as scorch-marks. The worst effect though is that as the hull of the Bismarck gets blacker and blacker, the gun turrets don't register any hits so remain completely clean. Looks weird.

If I were the devs I would have limited the decals to a maximum number per ship and furthermore, made the effect more consistent.
