Following along with the work on Icebergs and mines I have made subnets available for use in the game. They can be included in campaigns and single missions.
As with the icebergs and mines, the subnets cannot be destroyed with bullets or torpedoes. Torpedoes go right through the net also ![]() Your sub will collide with the nets and when it does it makes a collision noise. If you persist to 'get through' the net you will eventually but it will be VERY slow and you will make loud collision noises that can be heard over hydrophone. Think of your net cutters on the bow doing their job and cutting through the net when you're doing this. Here is a shot of 3 subnets from the Total Germany campaign. This is just to show that they can be added to campaigns. You'll find these 3 just past the mouth of the harbor: And here is a playable demo to see them in action. just did a test mission to see if escort could hear you hitting subnet....he couldn't

just looking into coastal defenses and noticed that they are already in SH5! They even have GR2 models

DPMS model...2 X 30 round clips...chambered for .223 and 5.56 rounds (military)...Beautiful weapon...ultimate in home defense, varmint hunting, small/medium game. Next gun I'm going to buy is a DPMS .338 Federal. Good long range capability, serious knockdown/killing power, and another beautiful weapon

From my work on importing SH3/4 ships into SH5 I've figured out how the game determines the damage/collision model. From this knowledge the subnets now don't let the sub or anything else for that matter pass through them
