Just short of eleven inches down here outside of Baltimore, so I imagine NYC got slammed - again.

Heavy, wet snow, too - looks lovely, but shoveling it is a bit... tedious.

Areas of Central and Eastern Maryland are like that, too. These people make goldfish look smart. I mean, it DOES snow here, often enough that more people should know how to drive in it. But you wouldn't know it to watch 'em.

I used to say that, "You could spit on the highway on a clear sunny day and people would immediately crash into each other because the road was wet."

Then I got creamed by a truck on a clear, dry, sunny morning, so I stopped adding the "wet road" part.

People here are just stupid. When it rains here, people drive faster. One snow flake, people drive 5 mph, break out the studded tires. Then, there's the moron male drivers in their monster trucks

Heh. I'm headed to Palm Springs in a week or so, so as long as BWI doesn't get snowed in by then, I'll be good to go. Got enough beer to last til then.

The heavy snows have missed Corn Land this year. So far, anyway.

Now that I've jinxed the weather; we'll be tunneling our way through the snow by tomorrow morning.
