Yea its a Natural Science elective.

I imagine you would have to take intro to astronomy for an astrophysics degree. But that would depend on the school.

You may also want see how far the financial aid will take you, credit hour wise. Here in Frederick County (Maryland) they pay for 96 credit hours towars your A.A at a community college. Which basically means, I could take whatever I wanted as long as I finish the curriculum and get the degree with these 96 credits.

As for the text books, we try to either get used ones, older editions or 'International' editions. That cuts down the cost tremendously.
In NYS TAP will give you aid for up to 6 semesters I think depending on your income. I think its also about the same for the Pell Grant.

CONGRATS in a big way, mate!! Good luck, stick to it, and if there's anything this non-traditional college sophomore can do to help, let me know; if I can help, I'll be happy to.

It was ok, I wrote a schedule out and mixed up the the titles for my two classes so I thought I was going to English when I was in my Math class, the time and rooms I wrote down were right so that worked out.

Tomorrow is the big day I got my intro to graphic arts class.

When I had my design classes, I found Hillman Curtis' book "MTIV" quite interesting. It is from 2002, so some chapter like webdesign are a bit outdated. However his process of thinking and looking for inspirations are quite good - and he is not an artsy-fartsy guy, the book is well written. The guy was inspired by WW2 propaganda posters when he was a kid - can't be a bad guy
