Hi all, has anyone had the opportunity offered to turn some of your torpedos into mines? I was offered this at the end of the first campaign. I was told to go and see the torpedoman and when I did he offered to jam the rudders of some of the torpedos which would turn them into circle running mines. However before I could accept his offer the screen disappeared

The thing is when I spoke to the torpedoman in the conversation box I had two choices offered, one to accept the the offer, the other to refuse. So if this was just to boost morale why the two options?

That EXO in the game is so stiff you could stick a rudder and a prop and turn him into a torpedo..who needs mines?

What i heard is that you do get the mine torps available but you have to go back to dock without saving and quitting the mission/game. Never tried it myself though.
