It can be adjusted in the 3 scene files (wheathertype 3 and then I think cloudscolor and fogcolor). I designed the stormy wheather with the black-and-white film effect in mind (so with contract between air and water). Other mods have not been part of that consideration and usually I found them too dark.

Yep the link's good, I just downloaded the file. Any idea if the version 9 has any compatibility issues with NVIDIA cards?

I don't use this mod,so i can not give an answer to your question,try it by yourself or wait until someone else can answer your question.

I have a Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT Graphic Card with the actual Driver on it,but just i wrote,i don't use this mod.

I have an nVidia GTX260 with the Driver Version 197.13 and the MOD (v.09) works without any problems for me !
