I will give it a try. Thanks very much

Edit: I gave it a go but couldn't make it work. I thought it was not yet possible to convert SH4 models into SH5?

If its in environmental folder then wont show in museum
Will have to put a roster cfg into a proper nation for it to be seen in museum

Default Very nice

Is it for sure that they didn't put bergs in the stock campaign?

Do you have them seasonal?

Thanks

They are definitely not in the Stock Campaign. Neither are Mines or Subnets for that matter, but we're working on it.

The 'bergs are seasonal and regional.

The Haifisch 1.0 is part of the US Merchant Fleet.
The Haifisch 1.1 is part of the Environemtal Group.

I am starting the Arctic Convoys campaign. The briefing stated that I need to watch Iceberg.

Currently not ruuning this MOD because I havent heard if it is compatible with the 1.2 patch.

So is the mod compatible with SH5 patched to 1.2?

Not compatible with 1.2, sorry

The Briefings were written before The Devs realised that they wouldn't have time to implement things like Icebergs, Subnets and Mines into the game. I wish I knew how to fix these things. The Iceberg models don't have any collision detection, they just pass right through land and ships, it doesn't make for a very realistic environment and adding them was supposed to be an improvement . There is also a problem with the Camera going 'Out of Sectors', when near an Iceberg. It's things like this that put you off trying. I suspect this is why we have seen a lull in interest from the Modding Community.

You can probably tell I am a bit disgruntled with SH5 at the moment. I keep encountering bugs while playing the Campaign and it's spoiling my enjoyment. I have heard that there will be no more Patches and probably not another Silent Hunter (with this Dev Team anyway). Perhaps it's time to take a break from Subsims for a while? Besides, the sun is shining

Even though the Icebergs do not have a collision model it is still nice to have the eye candy. I truly hope that you reconsider your position and bring this mod in line with the games current revision level.
Every time I head into Northern Waters, I now find myself looking for Icebergs fully knowing they are not there. Resulting in me posting this plea.

Adding Icebergs was a really neat idea, I also understand how one can get frustrated in modding when it feels the game design is against you.

If you've hit a brick wall or lost interest can you explain where you are at and what the pain is so that it can be re-visited either by yourself or others?
