I think Reece found a solution for this in SH3. Asked him.
That line is really annoying.

Is there any chance of this mod being put into jsgme format, as I am worried about altering files myself?

Thanks guys

Hi W_clear, I see you have the old problem comming back!

If I remember correctly you need to work with the fog-colour and the colour of the sky in the texture that controls how the sky is projected...

Let me know if it helps, it's been some time since I was studying how the engine works

Hi kriller2, Reece had to tell me the solution, and I also recall this method, but is only applicable to SH3 \ SH4, if you have time, I really want you to create clouds.

Hi my friend, okay I just found this out from Seeadler, here is a quote from him on how the engine controls the sky gradient:
Quote:
Originally Posted by Seeadler View Post

The input colors come from the CFG's in /data/env. There are the colors for different regions and daytime. You have SkyTopColor and SkyBottomColor and the shader now interpolates the colors and transitions between them. To get rid of the sky gradient bandings you must define a better and smoother algorithm within the shader.
I have decided to give SH5 a go, now that there have been comfirmation from Ubisoft about a second patch and maybe I can help with the clouds later

All mods can be used in JSGME. If the mod maker has not packaged it that way it still only takes about 30 seconds to create a few folders and you are good to go.

Any mod, and any game (well I have yet to see a moddable game it doesn't work for, they may exist).. that is the beauty of JSGME.

er. Has anyone here been up in an airplane, or at sea.

My experience is there is a very definite line at the horizon. I know of this cause when flying VFR the horizon is my primary reference point, there is a definite line at the horizon. It is always lighter than the area below and above, what causes it, I don't quite know, but it is there.

It is visible in photos of the horizon as seen from space. Very visible in shots from the X-15.

It is almost like a corona around the Earth.
